Dr. Matthew Cawley is passionate about delivering exceptional, patient-centered care rooted in precision, comfort and an eye for precision. After completing advanced training at Johns Hopkins Hospital, he returned to Chesapeake to collaborate once again with Dr. Tanya Brown—continuing a professional relationship that began years earlier during his internship under her mentorship.

With extensive expertise in cosmetic, restorative and implant dentistry, Dr. Matthew Cawley blends advanced techniques with a personalized approach to help every patient achieve a healthy, confident smile. Beyond the practice, he enjoys life in Virginia Beach with his wife and their yellow lab and proudly serves the Great Bridge and Hickory communities through his work with the YMCA Board of Directors.

Dr. Tanya Brown, founder of The Center for Cosmetic & Restorative Dentistry, is renowned for her commitment to excellence in advanced, patient-focused dental care. As one of fewer than 2% of dentists nationwide to achieve Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry, she blends art, science and compassion to help patients achieve optimal health, confidence and comfort.

With extensive training from The Dawson Academy, Spear Education and The Pankey Institute, Dr. Brown is highly skilled in cosmetic, restorative, implant and airway prosthodontic dentistry. Her approach is both comprehensive and deeply personal—ensuring that each smile she creates reflects the individuality and well-being of the person behind it.

Beyond the practice, Dr. Tanya Brown enjoys life in Virginia Beach with her husband and their cat. Passionate about mentoring future dental professionals and giving back to her community, she remains actively involved in local initiatives throughout the area.
