April, Financial Coordinator
As the Financial/Treatment Coordinator, I oversee all of the financial and treatment aspects of a patient’s visit. I coordinate patient care and specialist referrals. Dr. Brown and our team are unparalleled in every aspect of patient care. I love the team I work with and I am very proud to be a part of something so great.
I have been in the dental and medical field for over 13 years and I enjoy building relationships with patients. I am a member of The American Association of Dental Office Managers. It is a privilege to be part of a team that allows me to express who I am and appreciates the value that I bring to our patients and office.
Teresa, Patient Coordinator
As the Patient Coordinator, I work “behind the scenes”, both researching and helping you maximize your dental insurance benefits. I am fortunate to be a part of a wonderful team that works hard to make sure your experience is a great one!
I have been working in the Dental Field for over 4 years now starting my career in Endodontics. I enjoy meeting our patients and getting to know each of you. It is important to me that our patients leave our office with the best care possible.
I am a “local”, born and raised in Norfolk. I still live in Norfolk with my 2 amazing teenage boys that are my world! Outside of the office, you will probably find me on the baseball field!
New Patient Coordinator/Dental Assistant
As the New Patient Coordinator I have the privilege to be the first one to meet our New Patients, this comes with great pride. I believe Dr. Brown and our entire team take an advanced comprehensive approach so we can focus on our patient’s overall health and wellness.
I love being a dental assistant! I have been in dentistry for 7 years. I enjoy helping patients and building relationships with them. I am blessed to work with Dr. Brown and our amazing team! I feel lucky to be a part of this one of a kind experience for our patients. I am originally from Alabama and the Navy brought my family to the Hampton Roads area in 2016.
When I’m not at work I enjoy spending time with my two girls and husband. I love Alabama football. Roll Tide!
Lani, CDA-Certified Dental Assistant
I love my job! As an assistant I enjoy providing patients answers about their dental health and making them feel at ease. It makes me happy when patients feel better about themselves. I help Dr. Brown and our team make sure your visits are pleasant and run smoothly. In my 13 years in dentistry, I have finally found a home & a top-notch professional team.
I am a native of the Philippines and I have been in Hampton Roads for more than 23 years. Outside of work, I enjoy ballroom dancing, which I am actively involved in. Who knows you might see me on “Dancing with the Stars” one day! My other hobbies include sewing, crafting, knitting, shopping of course, and spending time with my family.
With a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Old Dominion University, I bring my passion for oral health to each patient. I love empowering my patients to achieve optimal dental health. I thoroughly enjoy every aspect of dentistry, including working with the latest dental technology in our office. Continual learning so that I can provide the very best care to my patients really excites me. It is truly my pleasure to care for you & your family’s oral health needs.
As a 3rd generation in the dental profession, I was born and raised right here in Chesapeake, Virginia. I enjoy getting to know our patients from all over the country! Outside of the office I enjoy wake boarding, jet skiing, watching movies, cooking, and playing with my Husky, Markus.
