We offer fresh coffee, water, or juice in our reception room. Drs. Brown and Cawley and our entire Dental Team do everything possible to respect your time and keep your appointments on time. Teresa, PATIENT COORDINATOR
As the Patient Coordinator, I work "behind the scenes," both researching and helping you maximize your dental insurance benefits. I am fortunate to be a part of a wonderful team that works hard to make sure your experience is a great one!
I have been working in the dental field for almost 10 years, starting my career in endodontics. I enjoy meeting our patients and getting to know each of you. It is important to me that our patients leave our office with the best care possible.
I am a "local," born and raised in Norfolk. I still live in Norfolk with my 2 amazing teenage boys that are my world! Outside of the office, you will probably find me on the baseball field!
Lani, CDA-CERTIFIED DENTAL ASSISTANT
I love my job! As an assistant, I enjoy providing patients with answers about their dental health and making them feel at ease. It makes me happy when patients feel better about themselves. I help Drs. Tanya Brown and Matthew Cawley and our team make sure your visits are pleasant and run smoothly. In my almost 20 years in dentistry, I have finally found a home & a top-notch professional team. I am a native of the Philippines and I have been in Hampton Roads for more than 23 years. Outside of work, I enjoy ballroom dancing, which I am actively involved in. Who knows, you might see me on “Dancing with the Stars” one day! My other hobbies include sewing, crafting, knitting, shopping of course, and spending time with my family.
Brittany, DENTAL ASSISTANT
I have been a Dental Assistant for 6 years. I earned my RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) License while attending Ocean Lakes High School at the Virginia Beach Technical and Career Education Center in 2014. I first started working in Endodontics and I absolutely loved it. I wanted to learn more in the dental field and over time moved to working in General Dentistry. I enjoy helping patients feel comfortable and educating them about the importance of their teeth and overall health. I love being part of the TCCRD team and helping everyone in the team.
When I am not working, I am at home with my 2-year-old son. My son Bradley and I spend a lot of our time cooking in the kitchen together. When we are not in the kitchen, we like to enjoy some other hobbies like swimming, hiking, and traveling.
Chelsea, REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST
Originally from Virginia Beach, Chelsea is a dedicated dental hygienist who graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in Richmond in 2012. With over a decade of experience in the dental field, she is passionate about providing high-quality care while building meaningful relationships with her patients.
What she loves most about her work is the opportunity to connect with individuals and help them maintain healthy, beautiful smiles. Outside of her career, Chelsea enjoys spending time with her family in Virginia Beach, where she lives with her husband and their 3.5-year-old son. In her free time, she enjoys reading and camping, appreciating both quiet moments and outdoor adventures.
Karen, REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST
Karen has been a practicing dental hygienist since 1988. She is a graduate of Luzerne County Community College, Nanticoke Pennsylvania, with a degree of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. She is also a graduate of the University of Maryland, Dental School, Baltimore Maryland with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene.

Karen has extensive knowledge of general dentistry, as well as the specialty of periodontics.
Karen and her husband, Steve, have lived in Chesapeake since 1994. They have one son, Victor.
Karen enjoys fitness, nutrition, traveling and spending time with her family. She and Steve are active in their church being greeters and providing meals to those in need.
