Dr. Matthew Cawley is dedicated to providing high-quality, comprehensive dentistry, with a focus on patient comfort and individual needs. A familiar face at our practice, Dr. Cawley has had a longstanding professional relationship with Dr. Brown. His passion for dentistry was solidified during a summer internship with Dr. Brown years ago, leading him back to Chesapeake to collaborate in delivering exceptional care to our patients and the community.

Dr. Cawley honed his skills through an advanced General Practice Residency at the esteemed Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. With a keen interest in implant and cosmetic dentistry, he has completed the International Team of Implantologists education week at The Harvard School of Dental Medicine and Dr. Arun Garg’s Dental Implant Seminars Continuum program. Currently, Dr. Cawley is furthering his expertise by attending core curriculum courses at The Spear Academy of Advanced Dentistry, completing The Dawson Academy's Occlusion and Smile Design course, and is progressing towards a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry.

As a member of the International Team of Implantologists, the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry, Dr. Cawley is well-versed in the latest dental practices and theories.
